These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Truthflare mobile application (“App”), operated by Siddharth Singh (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Truthflare. By creating an account and clicking "I Confirm," you certify under penalty of perjury that you are at least 18 years of age and not prohibited by law from using this service.
Misrepresenting your age may result in account termination and potential legal consequences. If you are under 18, you must not use Truthflare.
Truthflare does not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. If we discover a user is underage, their account and associated data will be immediately deleted.
We reserve the right to determine eligibility for Verified Citizen or Channel status and to revoke such status if verification is later found to be invalid or fraudulent.
To become a Verified Citizen or Channel, you must complete identity/business verification through a third-party verification provider. This may include document upload, a liveness check, and face-match verification.
You agree to provide accurate, truthful information. Misrepresenting your identity is fraudulent and may result in:
What You Should Know: Verification services are not error-free. False identities MAY pass verification despite our provider’s best efforts. Truthflare’s verified badge is NOT a legal guarantee of identity. It indicates only that the account passed our verification process.
Truthflare’s Liability: Truthflare is NOT liable for:
Revocation: We may revoke verified status at our discretion if we believe verification is false or account is misused. See our Privacy Policy Section 3.5 for details.
User-Controlled Deletion: You can delete your own posts and comments anytime via the post menu. Post authors can delete comments on their posts. This is your primary moderation tool.
Truthflare’s Role: Truthflare currently does not actively moderate content. We rely on users to self-moderate and delete their own content. However, we reserve the right to remove content or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, particularly for illegal content.
Illegal Content: If we become aware of illegal content (child exploitation, threats of violence, etc.), we will remove it and may report it to law enforcement.
No Moderation SLA: Because we do not have active moderation, there is no guaranteed response time for content removal requests. We encourage you to use the user-deletion features to manage your content.
Truthflare is designed around personalization. The better we understand what you're interested in, the better your experience becomes.
We use insights from your interactions (views, likes, comments, shares, bookmarks, echoes) to:
This is how Truthflare is built to work. It's different from generic platforms with one-size-fits-all feeds. To deliver personalized recommendations that make your experience better, we need to understand your interests. This personalization is central to what Truthflare offers.
What This Means for You:
If personalization isn’t your preference, there are great generic feed-based platforms available that might be a better fit for you. We believe personalized feeds make for a better experience, which is why we’ve built Truthflare this way. See our Privacy Policy Section 3.3 for complete details.
The “Truthflare” wordmark has been filed for trademark protection with the Indian Trade Marks Registry (Class 45). All other trademarks referenced belong to their respective owners.
You may not use Truthflare’s name, logo, or branding without prior written permission.
